I'm a dork.

For some strange reason there were a bunch of Takarazuka leaflets at the CIE building. Looking at the show currently playing I wasn't interested. Turning the leaflet over revealed that from January to March the shows are Versailles no Bara. Eeeeeeeee~! <3 The first show from January to beginning February is Fersen and Marie centered so I don't want to go to that one even though I'll have ample time during winter break. I really want to go to the Oscar one from February to March. ^____^

...I feel horribly uncool at the moment. For some reason yesterday Ayumi was talking about how she has no desire to see Takarazuka. I just sat there quietly without entering the conversation, I haven't mentioned that I'm really interested in going...^^;;;;; For me [the Japanese Studies major], Takarazuka is interesting enough to go see at least once.

And...it's festival time at Kansai Gaidai! Oh, but international students still have class on Friday. Sorry. (-_-)# There's always time tomorrow...

Yesterday was Bunka no Hi. I went to Hirakata Park with my host family to see the chrysantheum dolls for the last time ever. It's rather sad that they are getting rid of the exhibit. This year's theme was Yoshitsune. ...The Yoshitsune doll looked a lot like Taki...or maybe it was just a coincidence. And then we went to the "emperor's house" in Kyoto as my host family kept saying over and over again in English. I should have taught them to say "palace" but meh...whatever. My host dad was back from Fukuoka (again). Arrrrrgh. He's really becoming annoying. Stop repeating the same damn thing. Stop comparing yourself to your wife in terms of English ability (and making her really angry like you're some kind of little kid). I really don't fucking care who is better at English. Stop saying "What do you mean by *insert Japanese word here*?" and acting like it's a real question because it doesn't make any sense. *I* didn't say anything about *insert Japanese word here*. Is it so hard to say, "What is *insert Japanese word here* in English?" See, my host dad thinks about English too hard and tries to make it all divided into "formal" and "not formal" so he tried to make up phrases that "sound formal." He's just frustrating to be around most of the time. At first, I didn't believe all the back-talk about him from my host mom and host sisters. Now I believe it and I've finally formed an opinion about him.

Class. Bye.

EDIT: Hahaha. You know, it's not much fun to be class while the music from the festival outside is loudly playing. At one point when there was a pause in discussion during class...the sound of Matsuken Samba could be heard quite distinctly. So, we all laughed in spite of ourselves. And now...I have to do homework. I wish the dean would give the international students a real day off.
