"She doesn't speak any Japanese."

On Sunday my host father's younger brother's family came to visit. Just for fun, my host mother didn't tell them about me so we could surprise them. I also agreed to only speak English at first. They knew there was going to be a surprise when they came over...they guessed anything from Mizuho going abroad for a year to Asuka getting married.

It was great; they walked into the living room and were totally shocked. XD; My host mom told them at first that I don't speak ANY Japanese. But she preceeded to speak to me in Japanese, so about 5 minutes into their arrival my cover was blown. I was impressed that the younger brother started a conversation with me in English. He did pretty well. And then Ayumi told him that I speak Japanese. XD;

Next we have plans to go visit great-great grandmother.(!!!)
