Black Lizard
Jan. 31st, 2007 01:55 pmI finally had some time to sit down and read some of Edogawa Rampo's Black Lizard, which I ILL'd from Kalamazoo. I'm not that far yet, but, Paula, I am SO jealous you'll get to see the Takarazuka version of this. Although, I wonder how a musumeyaku is going handle the sexy, Black Lizard role (I just haven't had a moment yet in which a musumeyaku has felt "sexy" to me...) And already there's been crossdressing just in the first two chapters. XDDD
And having said that I'm gonna try to read the rest of this without thinking about Takarazuka. D=
If there was any author I'd like to try a hand translating, it's Edogawa Rampo because hardly any of his work has been translated. T-T
We started dancing and chanting today in Japanese Theatre class. Challenging. *cold sweat*
EDIT: Suddenly feeling very down and not happy. Why. ._. It's like every night around 9:00 there's this shift in my attitude from "Today was good day" to "Today sucked. Why even get out of bed in the morning." *sigh* And it's fucking cold in here.
