I went to Uji.

So! Japanese midterms were over on Friday! Which means...I decided that I didn`t need to study hard on the weekend. I got to do a couple things I`ve been wanting to do. Saturday I creeped around at the library, supposedly working on figuring out my paper topic, but I ended up reading all 3 volumes of Uzumaki. I haven`t read much horror manga (what I have read came from a previous host sister, the horror addict), so I was morbidly fascinated by Uzumaki. I`ve recovered by now, but the feeling I had while reading it kinda hung over me all the rest of Saturday and right before sleep. O.O;

I seem to be in an angsting mood for no apparent reason so I`ll just note that I bought a cell phone this weekend, fiddled with that for awhile, and completely out of the blue went with Okaasan and Ayumi to Uji. I haven`t been anywhere in a weeks so I enjoyed the fresh air and feel of Uji. Something completely different from Kuzuha. It was also nice to get out and do something with Ayumi. I feel like I spend all my time with Okaasan because of everyone`s work schedules.

Sigh. I still have to figure out my research paper topic (due Friday) for Modern Lit. Arrrrgh. I really shouldn`t have taken this class. I feel completely lost about it. I`d go see the professor about it, but he`s the type that`s not going to give me any assurance, just more questions and more thoughts to clutter me up. In the end, I`ll have to go see him because I really don`t know the appropriate starting place to that`s going to lead me to any sort of complex truth behind the words that can become a research paper of any merit. I don`t have much time to waste, either.
